Here's what worked, and what didn't
Mark and Paula were fabulous hosts! The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The beautifully tranquil setting with fields and sheep was enchanting.
Accessing local amenities required a bit of a drive, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

I had brand-new spotless room with amazing views, the back garden, for example. I found the hotel's location quiet and handy, just next door to the back garden, Boscastle and the local friendly pub.

Heaps of sheep outside, sweet as waking up to that! But the mattress was a bit hard for my back. Breakfast was a real treat though!

The hosts were wonderful, always eager to assist. Breakfast was a highlight, with a hearty selection of freshly prepared dishes. I loved how the serene location allowed me to wake up to peaceful views of grazing sheep outside my room.
Mattress could be uncomfortable.

I almost gave a good review for this place, but the shower was slow to run away and mattress was, frankly, a torture device for my delicate frame. I woudl ve been kinda surprised by a complimentary gesture, as i clearly deserve it, yet here we are, just like every other guest, how quaint!

The mattress could be a real challenge if you've got sensitive bones. I encountered a slow-draining shower, a bit of a pain after a long day of exploring. And while everything else was fine, I found myself longing for a bit more comfort in that area overall.

The English breakfast served here was plentiful, with something to satisfy every palate. Plus, the location is quite remote, giving you a nice break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, especially if you want to explore the beautiful Cornish west coast. 🌊.
